Actually (I don't mean to act like a no-it all, because I have never been to any of their stores) they started selling just groceries, unlike Wal-Mart, Kmart, and Target, They just added general mershe. into the mix but food seems to be thier biggest thing. Many people like the stores and the product quality, and they are a family-owned company.

I like Meijer, they're kinda like a Wal-Mart supercenter concept (Meijer actually beat Wal-Mart to the supercenter concept by a LONG shot), but with a Target look and feel kinda, great prices and service, and they're not of the "build a 200,000 square foot store in every town" mentality.

We don't have this store in Greensburg, or the surrounding area, but I found this tag when I bought some books off of e-bay.

Jaime...BRADLEES FOREVER!!!

I worked at the Meijer on georgesville Road in Columbus, I loved that working at that store, it was good until all the raises had to be approved by the DM, then it wasn't so good anymore. We had a team leader that used to be everywhere but his dept, it didn't matter though, we did our work and were left alone. I got hired in 2001. I worked there for a year and a half and went up in pay $2.00 per hr. then I left to persue other work and I wanted to go back part time and they hired me but then they told me that they were going to hire me back at .25 less an hour than I was hired in at in 2001, I was like are you kidding me? I had experience in that store and they were going to hire me for less.... no way...

While I like the store design of Meijer, their employees stink. Many cashiers are slow or don't know how to use the cash register system and call for assistance frequently. In addition, they aren't properly trained in bagging (they put meat with my cleaning products.) They can also be very rude.

Floor help is nonexistent and finding an employee can be very hard.

I have had bad experiences with their photo finishing department and refuse to use their services.

The side of a Meijer. Shouldn't that end with a question mark?

Based in Michigan, their stores are in mostly in the midwest. The closest ones to me are in Ohio and Kentucky.
