This was a home and garden chain. They all were rebranded to Frank's Nursery. There was one at Woodhaven Mall. It became Frank's but closed before the chain did, now a Babies R Us.

There also used to be a Gaudio's at Roosevelt Boulevard and Bustelton Avenue in a 1940's-early 1950's era A7P Supermarket.  At one point, the Gaudio's chain was owned by Penn Fruit Company.

Did the A&P have this design?
The A&P that was at both Rosevelt Blvd & Bustelton Avenue (which later became Gaudio's), and at Rosevelt Blvd and Red Lion Road (which later became Pep Boys) were built before A&P started to build their "Centennial" design, with the weathervane on top.
