So this is about Pizza Hut.  I've had a few pretty bad experiences with them, most notably a few months ago, and I wrote to their offices.  Knowing how the complaint would filter through the executives down to the store level, I expected a call and got one from the store manager, but it didn't really change anything.  I let him know they're the only one around and I'd hate to ditch them for Papa Ginos (which I already go to anyways), and THEN I got offered coupons galore.

Now the few Pizza Hut's I've been to have been pretty dingy and badly lit places, so I've never had high expectations of them.  Their food quality is well under their pricing if you ask me, same with their service.  When I was a manager at the Webster Square Papa Ginos in Worcester I used to go there for lunch for the salad bar:insane:.  Anyways, there's only one in the area here in Providence.  It's on Mineral Springs Ave in North Providence.  I went there a while back and had possibly the worst experience I've ever had at a pizza joint.

So I go in with my friend and wait, wait and wait to be seated, even though theres no one else in thye place.  Their in-house waiter/waitress system is pretty loose-knit anyways so I ddin't expect much there.  So we get seated and get menus... Two different versions of the menu with two different prices.  So I asked the waiter which pricing is correct and he pretty rudely replied which ever one is higher, and took our drink order.  Now c'mon... Ten minutes later this kid comes back with them and neglects to tell me I got Pepsi as they don't carry coke.  No biggie.  We ordered food and breadsticks, asked for them first.  After a while I started counting the minutes... 35 minutes to get the pizza, five more for the breadsticks with no apology.  Now if it was a bangin Friday night at 6:30 pm I'd completely understand, but were talking 7:30 on a Tuesday, and even deliveries at this place were dead.  The food was ok, the pizza was actually undercooked and looking at the cut had definitely been sitting on a warmer for about 5 minutes before making it's way to us.  So we're waiting, and waiting and waiting for the check, I finally just go up to the counter as this kid is nowhere to be found.  As I'm about to pay he comes walking in from outside reaking of cigarettes.  No apology and actually looks pissed I came up to the counter.  As I'm standing there I'm looking around behind the counter.  An open box of croutons on the shelf with someones jeans sitting on top and their belt fallen into the box.  Bad Pizza Hut.  So I left a tip reflecting the superior service I received and we left, and I made an online complaint.  In all we were in this Pizza Hut for about an hour and a half.

Now, generally I'm verrry lenient with bad restaurant service as I've been there done that in the industry.  But it wasn't Friday night and business at this place was dragging...  and as I said this was also not the first time I've had less than great service here in the past... So c'mon North Providence Pizza Hut, get your act together.

what's with the stale pizza hut pizza at taco bell?  We have a few taco bell/pizza hut combo places.  when it first opened up, the pizza was good.  now, the pizza is always stale.  such a waste.

I got sick the last three times I ate at the now closed Pizza Hut in East Tawas. But the two times I ate at the Alpena one it was fine. I like the atmosphere of Pizza Hut, though, and they smell really good.

Yeah Webster Sq. Pizza Hut is pretty bad.  That place is so dingy and the speed of service sucks, I used to go there on my breaks at the Papa Gino's in the same plaza.  It is also a district office, you think it would be a model store!
