Abdow\'s

Anyone remember this restaurant chain?  The Bickford's chain got me thinking about it because the former Bickford's in Avon, CT was previously an Abdow's, I believe.  The Goldroc diner in West Hartford was an Abdow's as well.  I remember it as having the largest American flag I'd ever seen flying from atop the roof.

There was a location I used to go to all the time in Auburn, MA.  It was first a Big Boys, then Abdows, now Bickfords!
