Famous Daves BBQ Restaurant

I was wondering if anyone here knows anything about Famous Daves BBQ Restaurant. They just opened a massive location in downtown New Britain, Connecticut at the Days Inn (or whatever name they're using this week. :D)

I did not know about this chain until i saw a TV commercial with Jeff Gordon.  They have a location in Manchester NH (picture).  The locator shown a future location on Brighton ave. in Portland Maine but since then the information is gone.

They should open up in former Smokey Bones restaurants that have closed recently. ;)

Easy come. Easy Go. This new Famous Dave's in New Britain has closed down already after being open only 18 months. Company officials blame that the location didn't live up to sales expectations. The mayor blames the comapny's lack of advertising. Meanwhile La Quinta Hotels who owns the property where FD's was located is trying to get another restaurant to move in, maybe Denny's.

It's also a bad restaraunt.  Really sub bar BBQ.  The location in Saugus, MA didn't last long
