I always remember going to Freedom Drug as a kid to have photos developed.  For those of you in or near Stratham, NH, Freedom Drug was located where CVS is now (next to Market Basket).

Other than that, most of the chains I used to visit as a kid have been listed before, so I won't bother to list them again.

I remember them well from the 60's and wonder if anyone has any idea or can provide a link as to what happened to them?

They had a great lunch area in the back of the store with a lunch counter and an area where you could sit and get waited on.

W.T. Grant Company went bankrupt around 1976. I don't know if one buyer bought up a large chunk of their stores, all the ones in this area went to different businesses.
