Here's a current (this past week) shot of the former Bradlees in Pittsfield, MA - this end of the building and parking lot has been fenced off, but I didn't see anything being done so no idea why it was fenced.

Thanks for the website - unfortuately when you view what they have posted it doesn't seem to give any clue as to what might be happening there (the site plan shows the buildings as they exist with "Former Bradlees" "Existing Stores" etc.)

im glad to see people liked the pictures  lol im luckey i stummbled aopn one i still wanan go see a Caldor though


the funny and sad thing about this bradlees i sthat it kida remindes me of the one in Manchester CT i saw  a pictures of it there was a wal mart bad in the parking lot:mad: witch is sad cause when i went to this Bradlees there was a Wal Mart a few blocks away from there:mad:


but the onmly thing diffrend betwwn these bradlees is that the Manchester one was locaed ina pplazza that is complety Vacant and the bradlees is bored up and the logo look like it has been shot the Stradford Bradlees is in good condishion the logo is kida faded though and the inside is complety empity as showen above

lol i should have thrown a rocka the logo maby it would have falling down and i would eb able to settal part of t he logo lol but anyways

well Bradlees logo is not as boring as wal marts lol i just dont like it there really no crativey to it Caldor had that with there logos and so did Ames and Jamesway but i still liked Bradlees anyone got any more pics????

This Bradlees used to be a Woolco.

See. The Woolco near me in The Village Mall was turned into a Bradlees as well in 1985. This is a different one though.

I don't know this old guy or where that Bradlees is. I found this pic on Yahoo!. I always laugh when I see it though!

I think the one in New Jersey might have been built by the same builder though as both centers looked to have been designed the same. (It is ironic that the Wal-Mart that replaced the Horsham Bradlees actually brought the plaza back to life)

When they did that construction, it really made my blood boil! I am still very angry with what they did, turning it into a shopping center. I remember when they built the mall in 1971. I worked at the Fayva Shoes that used to be in it that was shut down in 1994. The Thrift Drug too.
