I dont have a pic of one but I clearly remember that the Venture carts were gray with the little white and black loco and the word Venture wrote out kinda crooked.  THey were charcoal grey in color.

The ones i've seen are brown and then some that are blue.

what su prised me is how teh cart caem all teh way to CT when venture stores were located in teh mid west

No problem on posting that. Anyway, that's the only one I've ever seen. Found it in Naugatuck at the Ocean State Job Lot.

Mine, used by Big lots are black with a white logo and orange handle.

I want to thank you for the lengthy detail and work that you have put into all of your photo albums!  While I have always been fascinated by old and abandoned buildings (before it was cool!), I wish that I had known how fleeting all of it would be and taken more pictures of the area where I grew up and all the stores, etc. that are now long gone.

Very much apprechiated. I'm always on the lookout for vintage things, old retail, and generally nice photoscapes. Keep tuning in to my findings!

Six or seven years after the aforementioned Venture carts disappeared from several local Big Lots stores, a couple of them have been rediscovered in Milford, Ohio.
