Post by: AcesAdventures on February 04, 2018, 05:13:21 PM
Hey Gang, My name is Anthony, i am the creator of Ace's Adventures on YouTube, i may know some of you already :)....But anyways, i am on a mission to document what is left of all Hills and Ames locations, as sparse as it may be, i live in the western new york area, and have covered alot of what is left, but if any of you know of any outside of NY that have anything left, lmk :)

Welcome to the site Anthony. There is one remaining AMES that is still sitting empty in Connecticut in the town of Seymour.

Hey!
I actually found your content just a few days, and took your challenge to record a still open Kmart. (It's their Milford, CT location)
[Also I haven't uploaded it to flickr yet, so I'll add a link once that happens]

Ones I know about:
Ames - Shamokin/Coal Township PA
Ames (Was Hills) - Hazelton PA
Ames (Looks like it was a Hills) - E End Ctr, Wilkes-Barre (Was reused by Steve & Barry's, but right now it's empty except for a theater company using some of the back)

Can you clarify what it is that you want, Anthony?

Do you want former Ames stores that are still empty or
locations where the original building is still standing with a new occupant?

I think it would be cool to have a list of still vacant Ames stores
