Bank of America is closing their branch in downtown Bristol, CT at  53 North Street (Route 6) on February 28th.

This location has been a bank for a very long time and like many other BOA locations in Connecticut was previously Fleet Bank. The article claims it's because of declining traffic due to internet banking. While part of this may be true, I suspect another reason there is a decline in traffic because BOA is a notorious bad bank. Consumer Advocate Clark Howard says that BOA is ranked among the worst out there.
