This past 7 years has been rough to my county, pretty rough. We've lost the Sears Hardware in North Windham, 2 Benny's in Killingly, Kmart in Putnam, Salvation Army in Brooklyn, Big Lots in Putnam, and to top it off, we now got a vacant Dunkin' Donuts in Brooklyn. What have we gained? A Wal-Mart in Brooklyn with a new Dunkin' Donuts, Kohl's, which renovated the former Stop and Shop before they moved into Killingly Commons. Finally, the former Ames was renovated into some various stores.
