The Cleveland Indians have won twenty games in a row, tying the American League record
that was set by the 2002 Oakland A's.
They look to break it this afternoon in a game against the Detroit Tigers at Progressive Field.
The Tigers are out of the playoff picture, and are an injury ridden team. At this point a bunch of AAA players and retreads.
It is hard to see how the Indians will not claim this record.
Drew Carey would be proud.
The Tribe set a new major league record last night of 22 in a row
with their 10th. inning walk-off win over Kansas City.
Sadly the streak ended at 22.
