Post by: giantsfan2016 on July 12, 2017, 06:43:14 PM
This year is the 150th Anniversary of The Meriden Record Journal Newspaper. Today they posted an article about Townline Square on Route 5 in Meriden, Connecticut.

Over the years many defunct chains were located in the plaza. Bradlees, Linens N Things, Nobody Beats the Wiz, Rickel, Fashion Bug, The Toy Works, etc.

Some other former tenants over the years have included Shoprite (moved to Wallingford), Old Navy (moved to Westfield Meriden Square Mall), Chuck E Cheese, Panera (moved to Wallingford), Beverage Max Liquors, and Famous Footwear (moved to the Kohl's Plaza in Wallingford right next door).
