Title: Publix brand cinnamon rolls in a tube
Post by: giantsfan2016 on May 11, 2017, 05:42:57 PM
A friend of my Mom's goes to the Southington, CT Food Pantry once a month to get food. She got Publix band cinnamon rolls in a tube. She's allergic to cinnamon so she gave them to my mom. We baked them the other day. They are so good. We like them better than Pillsbury brand cinnamon rolls in a tube. Someone who made a donation to the food pantry must've traveled to an area where they have Publix stores.

It could also have been a closeout sold through a liquidator.

Or perhaps a local store getting the wrong (store brand) item and deciding, rather than to sell it at a discount to just donate it to the pantry?

That has happened before (the store getting the wrong brand, that is).

Maybe. We have this store in an old industrial building on Spring Street in Southington Across from BJs Wholesale. It's called The Outlet. https://www.facebook.com/theoutletct/ http://www.theoutletct.com/
