Dayton, OH:

Opened in 1980 as a Holiday Inn, the hotel changed hands in 2011 and became a Wyndham Garden.

The hotel closed in July 2014 (article) (http://www.daytondailynews.com/news/news/local/miamisburg-hotel-abruptly-shuts-down/nggC7/) and was purchased by Kettering Health Network in December of that year for, at the time, "future use." By May 2015, the "future use" had been announced as a parking lot. (article) (http://www.bizjournals.com/dayton/news/2015/05/12/kettering-health-to-demolish-former-hotel-building.html?a=t1).  The contents were liquidated over the summer (ICL flyer) (http://www.iclsales.com/Sales/WyndhamDayton/WyndhamGardenSouth.php) and demolition began in October 2015.

Due to my crazy work schedule and the distance from work to the hotel, along with the fact that the sale was not open to the public, I was not able to get a chance to explore this interesting looking building.  But I took plenty of photos of the outside!
