Never been there, but they bought the Hoyt's Cinemas at the Brass Mill Mall in Waterbury, CT. It's the only thing on the "third" floor of the mall.

The original theaters at Crossgates in Albany (which were also Hoyt's) had the same setup - in their case the ticket booth was on the 2nd floor, but everything else was on a 3rd floor, which housed just the theaters (and I think a small security office).

Those were closed a while back (they built newer stadium seating ones at the other end of the mall, ran both for a while then closed the older ones).  As far as I know that space has never been reused at all.

The theater at the Mall of Monroe in Monroe, MI started out as a Hoyt's, then they became Regal and they are currently part of the local Phoenix Theaters chain.

Regal has the best movie theater policy trailer ever! I call it "The Great Movie Coaster".  ;)

I have some memories of the Regal Films Cinema in Augusta, ME. I believe I watched Toy Story 3 in that place. I don't know of any locations nearby me.
