Title: Justice & Brothers
Post by: Pikapower on March 19, 2015, 07:59:32 PM
Justice is a clothing store that sells clothes and accessories for tween girls. They also had similar concept for tween boys called "Brothers". Justice already have closed the online Brothers store and stopped selling the boys line (Brothers) in Justice stores.

Feel free to discuss!

I didn't know about Brothers. And I think Justice used to be called "Limited Too". At any rate Justice opened near me in Plainville, Connecticut in 2013. They took 4,000 Square Feet of an 8,000 Square Foot vacancy that was created when Old Navy downsized. The remainder of the space became landlord space.

Justice is currently  in the process of phasing out the boys section (Brothers) in Justice stores.

Didn't they just open a Justice/Brothers combo store at Southland Center in Taylor, Michigan in 2013, in the same location where a standalone Justice had been?

Well, from what I have heard regarding Brothers is that Justice had stopped selling the boys stuff online and will stop selling the Brothers stuff in the stores by the summer.

It sure was, Justice originated in 1987 as "Limited Too", a kids version of The Limited. In 2009 Limited Too changed their name to "Justice" and Brothers (for boys) when the brand was introduced in 2011, it was only sold online then some Justice store go rebranded to include the Brothers brand as "Justice & Brothers".

I think they pulled the plug without doing any research. Most of business don't do research on what sells...

You're right Jim, Justice tried selling boys clothing, but they've decided to close Brothers because it wasn't being a big seller like Justice's girls clothing. And most Justice & Brothers stores didn't have the boys clothes in the storefront displays and the Brothers sections were in the back of the Justice stores.

They should have at least displayed the boys clothes and put posters around the stores. They should at least have the stores split in half... right side for the girls; left side for boys. Then parents could see that have boys clothes.

Or Justice could have made Brothers a separate store instead of pairing it with Justice!

I would imagine that once Brothers is completely gone that stores along with the other Justice & Brothers store would be converted to just Justice stores unless they decide to rebrand and/or close Justice too!
