Title: Meijer Expansion Strategy-My Way
Post by: Hudsons81 on November 04, 2014, 11:50:18 AM
If I had plans to expand Meijer, I would start out by purchasing failing or failed Super Kmart stores across Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania, completely demolish them and build brand-new from-scratch Meijer stores on those sites, bringing Meijer into eastern Ohio and western Pennsylvania in the process. Next, I would have it erect sites where it's feasibly possible across the same five states, plus Wisconsin, western New York, Missouri, Iowa and Minnesota. This should bring needed alternatives in many towns in these states. Meijer would have to remind us on TV, radio, newspaper ads, billboards and videos on Meijer's Youtube channel.

Here are a couple Sketchup screenshots showing what a couple of Super Kmart sites would look like as Meijer, using a modified version of a Sketchup Meijer store by Trimble 3D Warehouse user "tamias6".
