We got a Nordstrom in Columbus at the Easton Town Center.
theres one in the Westchester witch is a Fancy mall but everey one calls the mall the Nordstrim insted of the Westchester heh gos to show u how great that store is
I love the Westchester Mall! I use to work their to. Its a very upscale mall, Gucci is going to open this month. They have some of my favorite stores, like A/X and stuff. I rather drive a hour and a half to go their, then to go to Westfarms, the Westchester puts Westfarms to shame, lol:roll:

nordstrom is replacing the filene's in Burlington mall and the Macy's stores in South Shore mall in Braintree and North shore mall in Peabody. the will be about 145,000 square feet (Thought hte 2 macy's will are like 300,000 square feet and the filene's in burlington is 168,000 square feet). the burlington one opens Spring 2008, braintree south shore one opens Spring 2009 and the one in peabody north shore openes Spring 2010. WHY WAIT!!!!!!!!!!

i have gotten a few thinsg from nordstrom before i got a nic epair of shouse there for liek 70 bucks but they nordstrom and bloomingdales do cots alot of money butthere no were near as expensive as Saks 5th ave or neman marcus

I've been to 2 Nordstroms. Once 6 1/2 years ago at the King of Prussia Mall. I went to a writing convention in K.O.P. and a few of us decided to go to the mall. A lady in our group needed a pair of pantyhose so she bought it at Norstroms.
Then last Friday my best friend Paul (We're really close and I call him my adopted Sicilian Brother) and I went to Westfarms Mall in West Hartford to get a Christmas gift for his brother. We parked near Nordstroms and cut through the store to get out to the mall. They didn't have anyone there, but they have a piano that someone plays. I thought that was cool. Paul says he can play the piano, but he was afraid of getting bounced out by security if he went over to play it.
The very first Nordstrom Rack in Connecticut will be opening this spring in Farmington down the street from the regular Nordstrom at the West Farms Mall. It will be opening in the West Farms Plaza. My guess in the former Linen & Things.

most of those markets had too many Nordstroms. I was not surprised of San Juan as I went there 5 yrs ago and that had just opened and a lot of the mall wasn't open and Saks 5th AVe didnt reopen due to the damage of Hurricane Maria. I guess they never should have opened there.
I'm surprised Freehold Raceway Mall Nordstrom is closing, as Monmouth County, NJ is very densely populated and there are a lot of upper income households. It's probably wealthier area than Cherry Hill, but maybe Nordstrom kept Cherry Hill as it draws some customers from Philly.
However, maybe lease agreements at FRM were unfavorable. Also, the Jackson Premium Outlets is 10 miles away. Anytime an outlet mall is within reasonable distance, it likely hurts the department stores nearby.
Nordstrom is closing it's Downtown San Francisco store.
