Title: New Retail Project in Newington, CT to break ground in 2010

A new retail project in Newington, CT in the East Cedar Street/Russel Road area is expected to break ground this spring. The project will include a gas station, restaurant, hotel, and small-scale retail stores.

Does anyone know what Hotel, Bank, Gas staion is moving in? Do they even have a idea if spaces are already full or they all need to be leased?

I haven't heard a thing. I can't think of any gas station or bank that's not in or around the area. Although, one bank making inroads to the area is Wachovia. That's what I'm predicting, I'm probably wrong. I say this because when I drove by the Rocky Hill area, I discovered they are building one next to Big Y on Elm Street (Route 3/160).

If Wachovia is planning to move to Newington, i bet they would go into the former Citi Bank since its already set up.

whatever happen to this project?
