Title: Anyone ever found carts/baskets in a Dumpster?
Post by: Ameskid on May 05, 2009, 06:40:51 PM
I just did today.  Being a huge dumpster-diver, I decided to check out a large one near softball fields and a police station.  In this receptacle I found a 1990's vintage (with old logo) Kmart BASKET.  I never knew they used baskets!  The handles are quite rusty, but at least they're intact.  Will upload pics once I get an opportunity.

You bet I did!  I'll use it to store my endless array of store memorabilia. :D

It happened again - the Kmart that's closing near me managed to fit an entire metal cart in their dumpster.  Apparently no one noticed the signs saying not to fill the dumpster above the top...

I was on the verge of grabbing it when I realized that 1) it would be hard to get out, since large metal carts weigh a bit, and 2) I would have nothing much to use it for.  So now it's in some landfill.
