I went there last weekend so sad windows coverd up but one window paper fell off so i looked in and saw the registers shelfs and a lot of scrach tickets on the floor was formly a stuarts till 1994? so it had the stuarts register light but Market Basket has a deal to tare the plaza down and make a super MB in a few months so im gonna go see if i can get stuff from the demo crews:(
i want them to reopen the dudley one u can see the green paint in ther back room from when it was ames when they have the back doors open at big lots

The Board will review a request by Valley Properties, Inc. to approve modifications to the previously approved site
plan for the property located at 1235 Bridge Street. The approved project includes the demolition of an existing
133,100sqft retail building containing, among other businesses, a Market Basket and vacant Ames Department store
and construct in its place an 110,500sqft shopping center consisting of three separate buildings. One building will be
91,062sqft and house an expanded Market Basket grocery store and space for three additional commercial tenants, one
5,200sqft retail building is proposed at the northern corner of the lot and a 14,157sqft pharmacy featuring a drive-

Just got a email from a lowell city worker and he said
I believe that Market Basket is planning to start work this Summer. Demo of the old Ames Store will likely be early in the project because they need to construct the new Market Basket on that part of the site before tearing down the old one and completing the new plaza
Market Basket (Valley Properties) owns the plaza. The number they gave us with their site plan application is 978-851-0200. If you call, there may be someone who can answer your question about getting a look inside.
