they operate stores such as:
1.Saks Fifth Avenue
is the motherload
2.Parasian
3.Proffitt's
4.Mcrae's
is tne southeast divison
5. carson pirie scott
6.bergner's
that's the illinois division
7.Younkers

Saks has just concluded the sale of McRae's and Proffitt's to Belk. They are shopping for offers for the northern group including Carson Pirie Scott, Younkers, Herbergers, Bergner's, and the Boston Store. They are retaining the namesake Saks Fifth Avenue stores, the Off 5th outlet stores, and the Parisian stores. Many of the Parisian stores are in the South where the Proffitt's division was centered.
