lets start with ames, they would always annonce something on sale and end with bargains by a bagful.

I remember the going out of bus ads being on tv saying stuff like 30 percent off

Some Ames GOB TV ads...  btw on August 14, it will be the 4th anniversary of Ames announcing it will go out of business.
